Gentleman Roy and Cascadian given vet tick

Racing Victoria vets have given Gentleman Roy and Cascadian the all-clear to run in the All-Star Mile at Moonee Valley.

Both gallopers were showing sign of lameness when inspected by RV vets on Thursday.

Gentleman Roy has had synthetic hoof filler applied to his left fore foot and had showed considerable improvement after his racing shoe was fitted.

After being floated from Sydney to Melbourne on Wednesday night, Cascadian was displaying lameness in his right foreleg, and after having his shoe refitted, he too showed signs of improvement.

All 16 acceptors for the $5 million All Star Mile on Saturday have now been passed fit to start.
