Kerrin McEvoy and Almandin have teamed up again for Group One glory, winning the Tancred Stakes (2400m) at Rosehill.

The 2016 Melbourne Cup winner outlasted Ambitious and Who Shot Thebarman, with a smart tactical ride from McEvoy helping Almandin gain the win.

“Good to see him bounce back at the top level,” McEvoy said.
