Race 1

6 THOUGHT PROCESS was a last start runner up over 1800m on heavy track, who can go one better here. He was only second up from a spell last start, so third up here looks suited.

Race 2

Not a race I’m not keen to rip into, bit I have liked the trials of 7 FIRST CLASS MISS. The trials have been on soft tracks, and while it’s a heavy track here,  if she gets through it ok she can win.

Race 3

Didn’t mind the way 7 SIREEANNA got to the line late, once she was balanced up after a checkered path up the straight.  The step up to 1350m looks suitable and is a good EW hope.

Race 4

4 THE DANGER looks a good EW play in the conditions. He is rock hard fit, handles the Heavy track, races on speed and looks a good chance. 1 RIDGWAY is first up at 1350m on a heavy track, and has to be a risk.

Race 5

6 CASCAT ROSSA looks likely to start favorite here, on the strength of his last prep. Obviously the heavy track first up is a slight concern, as too is the fact he hasn’t won first up before.  He has certainly struck the right field to win first up here, and its hard to find something to beat him.

Race 6

Scratching’s with the heavy track have knocked this race around, but it still competitive.  3 LOVE YA MRS looks like he enjoys the soft tracks, with 2 wins from 2 goes on the soft. He’s in good form and is a genuine hope here. Hardest to beat is 2 ALL PLUCK, who was a good winner on the soft track last time out. He hasn’t got the best winning strike rate, but he is in form and racing well.

Race 7

Good competitive field here, with a few unknowns on the heavy track. 8 GUISSOLA is the horse in the race the market has missed early, and the heavy track brings here into calculations. He hasn’t missed a place on soft tracks, and is 1 win from 1 go on the heavy. He was listed place last prep, and a repeat of that has him going close here.

Race 8

7 DEFECTIVE looks ready to break back into the winner circle here. He steps to mile after a good run behind GREEN LUCK at 1350m last time out. He handles the rain affected tracks, and looks primed for the mile 4^th run into the preparation.
