Global thoroughbred operation Godolphin has struck for a Group One quinella in the $1 million Caulfield Stakes.

In a stirring finish with an international result, Benbatl held off Blair House in the 2000m weight-for-age race as Humidor took the minor placing.

Benbatl is trained by Saeed Bin Suroor while Blair House hails from the Charlie Appleby yard and both horses now have an appointment with Winx in the WS Cox Plate.
