Outsider Harlem has capitalised on a perfect run to beat the favourite Gailo Chop in the $1.5 million Australian Cup at Flemington.

Ridden by Michael Walker for the all-conquering Lindsay Park stable, Harlem ($61) made a late run between horses after saving ground from an inside draw.

Harlem’s stablemate Ventura Storm ($31) finished third as Lindsay Park pulled off the Newmarket Handicap-Australian Cup double.
