Lindsay Park will field a strong team at Caulfield on Saturday, with as much attention on the three-year-old features as the $300,000 Group 2 Lawrence Stakes.
Ben, Will and JD Hayes saddle the favourites in both the Vain Stakes and Quezette Stakes, headlined by unbeaten filly Scenic Point.
Equal favourite for the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) on Caulfield Cup Day, Scenic Point steps up in the $200,000 Group 3 Quezette after wins at Pakenham and in the Listed Redoute’s Choice Stakes.
“She’s probably one of the more exciting three-year-olds coming out of our stable,” Hayes said.
Lindsay Park previously won the race with Bella Nipotina, who later became a three-time Group 1 winner and the only mare to win The Everest.
Signature Scent, My Gladiola, The Playwright, Icarian Dream and Blue Hotel add depth to the Quezette.
In the Vain Stakes, Lindsay Park’s Shining Smile and Tycoon Star face Shaggy, McGaw, Jimmy Recard and Sonofkirk.
