Bellagio (Race 3, No. 7)

First starter from the Freedman stable who comes into this after a very nice trial at Happy Valley. Bellagio finds a tough race on debut, but he is a nice talent and he should get every chance from the perfect barrier.

Strathspey (Race 5, No. 5)

Lightly raced galloper who didn’t have much luck last start, but he still managed to run on very well from the back of the field. The stable will have him fitter for this assignment and he should get a lovely run throughout the race just behind the speed.

Value Bet

Circuit Number Two (Race 9, No. 4)

Former Aussie galloper (Keen) who makes his HK debut after a very nice recent trial at Sha Tin. He should get a lovely run from the draw today, this distance suits and I think his current quote of $18 is great value.
