Champion Winx will need a new jockey when she resumes in the Apollo Stakes with Hugh Bowman suspended at the Karaka Million meeting in Auckland.

Bowman’s careless riding suspension on Saturday comes on top of one he received at Warwick Farm a day earlier and he has indicated he will not appeal the ban which puts him out of the Apollo Stakes on February 17..

He has ridden Winx in the past 21 starts of her 22 win-streak which includes three Cox Plates.
