Jungle Cat wins Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes

A decision to target early spring carnival races has paid immediate dividends for Godolphin with Jungle Cat winning the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.

Trained in England by Charlie Appleby, Jungle Cat prevailed in a three-way finish over Dollar For Dollar and Land Of Plenty in the Group One race at Caulfield.

Jungle Cat is a well-travelled sprinter, having won the Group One Alqoz Sprint during the Dubai World Cup carnival in March.
