An eastern states campaign is back on the agenda for Kissonallforcheeks.

Trainer Dan Morton said the four-year-old will depart Perth on Wednesday ahead of three group races in Sydney.

“She’ll leave on Wednesday all things being equal,” Morton told The Races WA.

“We wanted to go earlier, but as it’s turned out with the weather, it’s not such a bad thing she couldn’t go as originally planned.

“She’ll travel to Melbourne and then road it to Sydney after arriving early Thursday morning.

“She’ll target the G1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) the following week, the Emancipation Stakes (1500m) and G1 Queen Of The Turf (1600m), a one million dollar race.

“I hope to give her a jump out or a trial once she gets there.”

Kissonallforcheeks last raced on February 12 in the Listed Cyril Flower Stakes (1200m).

The Written Tycoon mare ran through the line strongly to finish second to This’ll Testya.

Kissonallforcheeks won the R.J.Peters (1500m) last November before winding up her campaign with two thirds in the G1 Railway Stakes (1600m) and Kingston Town Classic (1800m).

While Kissonallforcheeks is Sydney bound, Morton has elected for Stafford’s Lad to remain home and target country cups,

Morton contemplated the Adelaide Cup (3200m), but said the seven-year-old will run in Saturday’s Bunbury Cup (2100m) and Pinjarra Cup (2300m) on April 3.

Neville Parnham has all but dashed any hopes of Indian Pacific going to Melbourne for Saturday week’s G1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington.

Indian Pacific ran second to Zoutori in last year’s Newmarket, but Parnham says he simply ran out of time with his sprinting five-year-old.

“It all got a bit rushed not knowing if we could secure a flight across,” Parnham said.

“I haven’t completely shut the gate, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll go for the Newmarket.

“It would have meant race Saturday and back him up, which he did last year, but off a good preparation.

“He hasn’t raced for three months and I don’t have him primed.

“There’s no point going over for just one or two races.

“We might look at going to Adelaide or stay home and target the Northam Stakes (1100m) and Roma Cup (1200m) in winter.”

Bam’s On Fire is set to return to Melbourne after a short stint with Parnham last year.

The Universal Ruler mare, who commenced racing in Perth under Mark Forder, won five races for Ciaron Maher and David Eustace.
