Ciaron Maher and Craig Williams will chase back-to-back The Everest victories after Godolphin confirmed Tempted will run in its slot.
The pair combined last year with Bella Nipotina to win the Group 1 The Everest (1200m) at Randwick.
This year’s $20 million race on October 18 has just one slot remaining, with Yulong Investments still searching for a replacement after Private Harry was ruled out for the spring.
Tempted was a dual Group 2 winner as a juvenile and ran third in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m).
As a three-year-old, she claimed the Group 2 Run To The Rose before finishing third behind stablemate Beiwacht in the Golden Rose (1400m).
“Tempted is a top-class filly,” Godolphin Australia managing director Andy Makiv said.
“She’s in great form and three-year-olds have a strong record in a race like The Everest.”
