Mer De Glace wins Caulfield Cup for Japan

Japan has claimed one of the jewels of Australian racing with Mer De Glace winning the $5 million Caulfield Cup.

Ridden by Australian jockey Damian Lane, Mer De Glace came with a sweeping run from the back of the field in the 2400m race.

Vow And Declare was runner-up with import Mirage Dancer taking the minor placing
