Mr Brightside headlines nominations for the King Charles III Stakes

It is seventh running of The Everest (1200m) and the race day is only bigger and better.

Early in the week I Wish I Win ($4) is the favourite leading into the final acceptances but there are many of the syndicates that will cause plenty of noise.

Think About It ($4.50), Private Eye ($6), Espiona ($17) and Mazu ($26) will all have huge numbers around the enclosures all day.

The race moved to this day, changed in name and upped in stakes is the G1 King Charles III Stakes (1600m) and it has some of the best around including Mr Brightside ($2.50), Fangirl ($6) and Zaaki ($8).

One of the great races on the day is The Kosciuszko (1200m) and the best of the country trained horses go around. Opal Ridge ($3.20) has to hold onto the top of the market with challenges coming from Far Too Easy ($5) and Front Page ($6).

The G3 Sydney Stakes (1200m) will be a frantically contested sprint as the consolation for the Everest. Could Rocketing By ($51) go back to back? Some impressive young rivals include Airman ($51) and Benedetta ($6).

A Spring Champion Stakes lead up is the G3 Gloaming Stakes (1800m). Will it be those from the Dulcify like Ganbare, Pushy and Tom Kitten.

We see a major lead up for the Golden Eagle being the Silver Eagle (1300m) with the placegetters getting entry. Pericles ($4.50), Yellow Brick ($2.80) and Strait Acer ($26) are ones to watch.
