Tasmanian filly Mystic Journey has staved off the might of the Godolphin stable to claim the inaugural $5 million All-Star Mile.

An $11,000 yearling purchase, Mystic Journey covered extra ground in beating stable companions Hartnell and Alizee in the world’s richest mile race at Flemington.

Trainer Adam Trinder said the three-year-old would now be spelled concentrate on a Cox Plate campaign in the spring.
