RACE 3 NO.13 SIR OWEN
This colt has a lot to live up to being named after his owner but that said he does look a promising young horse. He created plenty of hype with his trials and then was heavily supported on debut and I think ran very well but the tactics adopted which may have taught him plenty didn’t suit the race on the day. He has trialled twice since his debut run 15 weeks ago and I imagine from a good gate he should position up handy and be too good.
RACE 8 NO.16 KAONIC
He is a serious horse KAONIC and even though he is a 4yo he is still on a big upward spiral and I hope today he takes a huge step forward with a feature race win. His last win was very good and although I have heard all the experts say the second horse was held up and should have won it was in the fast lane on the fence and Kaonic was in the middle of track where only two horse made up significant ground one being him and the other a handy one in Winx. From a nice gate he should position up nicely around 6th – 8th and give a good sight. The serious dangers are Best Of Days, I Am Coldplay and Prized Icon.
