In what looks a favourite’s day at Newcastle we have to patient and wait till the last for my best INVINCIBLE GANGSTA. He strips fitter second up and from the perfect barrier he will likely camp right on the hammer of the leaders. With the rail out so far it should aid those drawn in and with the way the map looks he should get every possible.

WRONGFULLY WRONG has raced in terrific order this preparation with two second placings followed by a last start dominant win at Tamworth over the flying 1000m. He is drawn wide here but with the step up to 1100m which I don’t think will pose any problems he should be able to work across and find a spot on-pace and if he kicks like last start the others will have their work cut out trying to run him down.
