Noel Callow appealing Moe suspension

Jockey Noel Callow is heading to the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board to fight a careless riding suspension.

Callow will have his appeal heard on Monday after being suspended for 12 meetings by Racing Victoria stewards at Moe on Tuesday.

Stewards deemed the interference to be in the mid-range when they banned Callow following his winning ride on River Reward.

Currently riding under a stay of proceedings, Callow is appealing the decision to suspend him as well as the severity of the 12 meeting ban.

Callow’s stay of proceedings ends following the Cranbourne night meeting on Friday.
