A precise ride from Corey Brown has been rewarded with a Group One Metropolitan win on Patrick Erin.

After saving ground between runners on the home turn, Brown angled Patrick Erin into the clear at the 200m.

The Chris Waller-trained stayer wore down stablemate Brimham Rocks with Victorian stayer Sikandarabad filling the minor placing.
