Premier jockey Jeff Lloyd has been suspended for causing interference at Doomben.

Lloyd pleaded guilty to causing interference aboard Powerful Saga in Saturday’s Carlton Draught Class 6.

Stewards alleged Lloyd caused interference to eventual winner Khalama at the 250m mark.

He was suspended for eight days to start next Saturday night (July 29) and ending on August 7.

Lloyd will easily win his second Brisbane jockeys premiership with a record 134 winners to date.
