MISS BUNNY HOP was good first up over the flying 900m when battling away to hold down second here just over three weeks ago. That run should have helped her fitness and from gate three I imagine she will be prominent and be hard to run down. The class runner BROODWAR was outstanding in her first run for Kris Lees when winning at Muswellbrook before over racing and disappointing at Gosford. The only query here is the 900m and whether it’s just 50m too short but she is sure to be coming hard late.

Backing MISS BUNNY HOP hoping she can skip away and hold on but saving my stake on the quality runner BROODWAR who will be flying home hard late.

Race 7             No.5    Don’t Doubt Her        from                No.1    Bold Chance

DON’T DOUBT HER will need a touch of luck from the awkward gate and will have to bounce back after being well beaten last start at the very short price of $1.75. She goes back up a 100m to 1300m and after being ridden aggressively early last start and not quickening I imagine she will be looking for a sit. On this Scone track she has recorded two wins and two seconds from six runs. BOLD CHANCE has won two from two this campaign and looked ultra impressive winning last start at Taree when defeating the handy galloper Deangelo. He has drawn perfect so should enjoy a nice run.

I’m keen to have a good bet on DON’T DOUBT HER while saving my stake on BOLD CHANCE.
