MEROVEE debuted here back in late March with plenty of expectation as he is by former champion Frankel and although many thought he was disappointing I thought his run was ok as he looked very new and immature for his frame. I have liked his two trials this time around and he’s found a perfect race to kick start his winning career. The 1350m looks ideal and with Hugh Bowman on board from a perfect gate he will be hard to beat.
