Race 1

3 – 6 – 7 – 2

Was really taken the recent barrier trial of OUTRAGEOUS when cruising behind them and looking as though he could have put them away in two strides if his jockey wanted. From a good gate he should get last look at them. Omar looks a smart youngster and I expect to race on-pace and be hard to beat while the Waller runner Pembroke Castle if he begins will give the others something to chase. They look the three to me with no a lot between them.

Race 2

2 – 1 – 3 – 4

SIEGE OF QUEBEC is a quality animal having won two from three attempts with the only defeat coming at the hands of Menari known as the Ferrari. He has trialled well leading in here and should take control of the race right from the get go. Single Bullet looks the only danger to my eye that looked the winner last start in the Wyong Magic Millions until he found the 1200m a fraction too far. With the drop back to 1100m he could be camped right on the bumper of Siege Of Quebec and pose a threat.

Race 3

1 – 5 – 9 – 3

SHOW A STAR did a good job first up behind two handy gallopers and should strip fitter and although he drops in grade he will carry the same weight with the claim for Jean Van Overmeire. I expect him to roll forward and sit outside King Darci who is another capable of giving plenty of cheek from the front today. Prometheus is an improving horse going through the grade and with no weight must be respected. The Favourite Eusebio is a player but I think well found at his odds in the market.

Race 4

2 – 6 – 11 – 12

ORI ON FIRE is a pretty quick galloper and if he can what he did first up at Tamworth when jumping and running he will be hard to run down. Another Sin has shown his form in Sydney on several occasions and after resuming in a benchmark race he drops back to Highway grade here and is sure to be hard to beat. Big Reg was close to the best thing every beaten on a racetrack last start and although this is tougher if he begins on equal terms expect him to play a role. El Mo got the money at Goulburn last start in good fashion and is capable of stepping up here. El Mo got the money at Goulburn last start in good fashion and is capable of stepping up here.

Race 5

3 – 4 – 11 – 9

I was trying to look around SAMADOUBT but he looks to take total control of this race and with the apprentice Van Overmeire on board he will run along and be hard to get past. He is in dashing form and coming back a 100m to 1300m is an added bonus. Bratislava was in front and looked disappointing last start but if you forget that run and go on his previous two this preparation and the fact he will have a bunny to chase makes him a player. Merovee is first up and has to be respected while Thaad was very first up when in restricted room and if he can sprint second up he will be charging late.

Race 6

3 – 11 – 8 – 7

Very keen here on O’RACHAEL is turns up here fresh off a months break after racing in better grade races than this time at her past few campaigns and has trialled very smartly. I hope she rolls forward and I think can lob in a nice trailing position and be hard to hold out. The favourite Moss Trip was unbelievable in winning at Kembla albeit against moderate opposition but with only 53kg on her back she will be hard to hold out late. I’d be surprised if one of the two doesn’t get the money.

Race 7

3 – 8 – 6 – 7

George Patton created a huge impression in France before relocating to Hong Kong where he suffered injury after injury and now he finds himself here in Australia having not raced for 584 days. The raps have been huge and the trial was outstanding and as soon as the prices went up bang the punters stepped in. He is a big watch here for sure and I will be keen to see him in the parade ring but for my top pick I’ve settled on ENDLESS DRAMA from the Chris Waller yard. This bloke has always had a nice rap on him and I think this time around is the best and most relaxed I’ve seen him at the trials. He will just need a touch of luck early to find a spot and he will be kicking at the business end. Supreme Effort gets barrier one and can dash very quickly if given the right opportunity and from a nice barrier don’t underestimate him. Lanciato is low flying and is sure to be coming hard late here but he will be trying to run down a few handy types which won’t be easy.

Race 8

10 – 7 – 5 – 2

Looks to be plenty of chances here but I finally settled on ATLANTIC FOX who will get a soft run from gate one and has been racing in terrific form and with no much speed on paper he will be in the right spot to pounce. Emperor’s Way goes up 2.5kg but was good in winning here a fortnight ago and a repeat run has him in the money. Nothing Box is another who will get a good run on-pace from barrier two and he will be there for a long way. The other three I think could easily win is Get On The Grange who could easily lead and get a nice soft run while Gamblestown and Sir Barb are big players but may need a bit of tempo to be injected into the race.

Race 9

5 – 2 – 7 – 8

PEDWAY is flying this preparation and could have easily won all three of his runs with things going against him at his latest two. Last start at Canterbury he was forced to kick up and work the entire race and even after that he was only caught in the final bound. The equation is simple for Satirical Magic in that he just needs to bring his Canterbury form to Rosehill and if he does that he will be hard to hold out if he gets a crack at them late. Difficult To Get was good last Saturday behind Faraway Town so she only needs to repeat that to play a role while My Maher had trialled well before running very well fresh three weeks ago.
