RACE 1                        NO.1    SPEED AND STYLE

SPEED AND STYLE did a good job here on debut when narrowly beaten before having no luck at all at Hawkesbury yet she was still able to pick herself up and find the line to grab third on the line. From a good gate and stepping from 1100m to 1300m she should be able to settle handy and I think start the punters off on the right foot.

RACE 5                        NO.2    ABERRATION

First up from a five month spell ABERRATION did a super job to run second splitting Smartedge and Travancore who then ran the quinella on Monday at Randwick. His second up form is very good and the step up a furlong to 1400m looks ideal. With only six runners he should settle handy and be hard to toss. I haven’t even mentioned how good his trainer Brad Widdup is going so hopefully it continues here with Aberration.

RACE 6                        NO.6    GODUNOV

I concede the odds-on favourite Prometheus will be hard to beat but I have a big opinion of another runner GODUNOV who and I might be going off early but can progress through to carnival races. He debuted at Hawkesbury a fortnight ago and was outstanding for a horse that looked new but the way he attacked the line really caught my eye. The big Kembla track will suit him down to the ground as will the step up to the mile. Keep an eye on this colt moving forward especially if can account for the older horses here.
