Gold Symphony is this weeks horse to follow.

Matthew Howard of Mounting Yard Mail was back at Rosehill Gardens on the weekend and for those that follow on race day had another good day with 3 on top selections getting home. Race 1 – 11:25AM PRO RATA ATC MEMBERSHIP ON SALE HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

HUALALAI Top selection here, keen. Has improved nicely between runs. Dappled neck. Will appreciate the firmer track today 1st
HELIOSPHERE Nice athletic wet track type. Nice mover 2nd
CONDOR Nice horse this. Coat looks great. Another that looks better suited on top of the ground. 3rd selection 3rd
MAD PIRATE Coming out of a maiden race not ideal for this horse but not the worst parader at odds 7th
UNCLE RODRIGUEZ Tall, leggy gelding. Others parade better 6th
ARRESTAR Biting on the bit I’m not a fan of and displays key negatives 8th
VICTORY IN PARIS Needs to grow into her frame more 9th
CAN PARTY Light 5th
ALL TOO SOON Thin but not fit. Need to see this horse again before I make an opinion of it. 4th

JUST DREAMING Parades even better today than last start which is interesting deep into its prep. Nice horse. Top selection 2nd
HIGH MIST Cracking type this, great moving type, good improvement between runs 3rd
FARAWAY TOWN Just a wet track type of horse this. Needs to see mud 4th
ROYAL ACE Wet track type, very fit and parades relaxed 5th
INSENSATA Has actually put on some condition between runs. Focused in the yard. Should run well 1st
LOPE DE LOPE No, Big filly however looks completely outclassed here. Plain 6th
Race 3 – 12:35PM MCGRATH ESTATE AGENTS HANDICAP (1900 METRES)

VANDANCER (NZ) Relaxed, fit and should appreciate a bit of give in the ground 10th
I’LL FLY AWAY (IRE) Winter coat on however fit and healthy horse in the yard. 8th
LA COURBETTE (FR) Bad manners in the yard, not for me 11th
RUSTIC MELODY Always parades well but hard to catch 1st
MARAUDAMISS Heavy walking type, not for me 4th
FANTASIZE Awkward looking horse, no thanks 6th
PEPPERBERRY prefer this horse on trop of the ground 1st
FOURNETTE Nice moving horse this, should run well 7th
WALK THE STREETS Has gone backwards in the yard since I saw it last 2nd
DOMED tony horse so you wouldn’t want it carrying much weight. Big overstep though 5th
CELESTIAL CHOICE Whilst this is more of a midweek type of race I’d prefer this horse in something easier. Just okws 3rd
Race 4 – 1:10PM TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1800 METRES)

BARBASS long striding animal, still not totally screwed down. Has improvement to come 3rd
CALL THE CAPTAIN Parades in good order here today, no issues 10th
ALFDEN Been eating to many pies this one 9th
ITSA FAIT ACCOMPLI Should run well based on the yard. Focused 1st
KINGSBRIDGE last start winner however still carrying excess condition 14th
AL CUBANA Moving well in the yard however getting warm late 4th
MISTER MARMALADE This horse needs a firmer track than it gets today. 8th
RUSH OF BLOOD Not focusing in the mounting yard 11th
SUPREME LAD Doesn’t parade like a horse that will appreciate step up in distance 12th
THUNDER ROAD Maps to get right back here which is not ideal however the horse parades ok condition wise 6th

IT’S A LOTTERY At least its fit however displays some key behavioral negatives for mine 2nd
CHADANA being led by the clerk of the course which is not ideal however isn’t getting to stirred up. Horse is fit 7th

BLACK TOMAHAWK looks a real dry track horse to me eye. 8th
GALLIC CHIEFTAIN (FR) geez this horse parades in good order, coat is gleaming in the un. Keen 1st

TICK TICK BLOOM Needs a meal 7th
MONTAUK holds condition well, fit and focused. 2nd
IGGI POP (NZ) Relaxed but still carrying to much condition. No 6th
ARALDO JUNIOR (GER) Good improvement between runs in its coat. 5th
SOVIET COURAGE (IRE) Looks tired 4th
SO IT IS Awful walk on it, no thanks 9th
Race 6 – 2:25PM TAB HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

PIONEERING Fitter but still patchy in her coat plus she has to carry weight today and not being a big horse will struggle 1st
UPSCALE Good improvement between runs, looks fit today. Drier surface today suits 5th
MEMES Holding condition well, has the dappled coat on today. Should run well 2nd
HETTY HEIGHTS Half a run short for mine, should look spot on next start 3rd
NUDIERUDIE Relaxed being led around on the long lead, good order 7th
FICKLE FOLLY Moving particularly well today, no knocks 4th
MAGIC ALIBI has a little improvement to come fitness wise but getting warm late 1st

DON’TBABYLON Needs a meal, thin 10th
ROMNEY’S CHOICE Displays on of my key behavioral negatives, no 8th

THE MONSTAR Normally gets all fired up in the yard and whilst not totally relaxed is better today 2nd
GOLD SYMPHONY Top selection here parading in great order. Fit, focused and moving well 1st
SHIRAZ one of my old favs however I have seen him parade better in previous preps 5th
CENTRE PIVOT Fat 9th
MOUNT NEBO Looks outclassed here and I would prefer it on a wetter surface 7th
EXTENSIBLE Parading in good order here, very fit horse 8th
SLIGHTLY SWEET Solid improvement between runs, should run well 3rd
SIR BACCHUS One of my favs and he has never paraded better today condition wise (dapples for days) but for the first time displays one behavioral negative I haven’t seen before 6th
TELOPEA (GB) awkward looking type but looks healthy in the coat 11th
ZIN ZAN EDDIE Still quite fat in the mounting yard 10th
INVINCIBLE KNIGHT best roughie in the race, has been clipped or this race and this is the best look we have had at him. Should run well 4th
GIRL SUNDAY This is the best she has paraded in some time. Big strong mare, very relaxed 13th
MOUNT PANORAMA No chance, outclassed here 12th
Race 8 – 3:45PM SCHWEPPES HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

OXFORD POET Needs the run, carrying excess 7th
CLASSIC UNIFORM Not the most fluent moving types but quite patchy in the coat also 8th
SAVOUREUX this is the best this horse has paraded in some time. 9th
PRINCEFAMOUS (NZ) Another than needs the run and is patchy in the coat today 11th
MR MANHATTAN Still not at peak fitness 10th
WOULDNT IT BE NICE Awful 5th
TOP STRIKER Returned in good order. Should have a good prep ahead of it. Follow if runs well 6th
HIGHLY GEARED getting a bit agitated in the yard and up on the toe. Needs better manners 3rd
I AM GYPSY SCRATCHED SCRATCHED
SIR PLUSH (NZ) Has improved 3 lengths between runs. Looks spot on here 2nd
CALANDA Danger to the favourite. Looks very fit and great coat despite the middle of winter 1st
KING DARCI (NZ) Needs this run, still carrying excess and quite plain in the coat 4th
Race 9 – 4:25PM #THERACES HANDICAP (1500 METRES)

MAGICAL STANCE 3rd up today and still quite big in the yard. I’d suggest they aren’t getting a lot of work into him. Needs this run 5th
OBSIDIAN (USA) Like this horse, he looks happy and healthy but looking for more distance now 10th
OUR BOY NICHOLAS No fit and looking for a firm track 15th
RENEGED In very good order, fit and moving well. No behavioral issues. My only concern is can it carry this weight? 3rd
BRING LUCK Coat still not right with this horse 13th
PICK ME UP Looks great today. Big strong bugger who looks a picture of health, tricky gate 7th
CARZOFF (FR) I don’t understand why this horse is so short in the market. Little thing carrying weight, up on the toe and back in distance. Cant find it in my top 3 4th
KINGSGUARD (NZ) Best this horse has looked this prep. Maps well here. 1st
STAR WARS (NZ) Biggest horse in the yard all day. I couldn’t back him unless it was a rock hard track and even then I’d struggle. 14th
KING VIV (NZ) Will struggle in this class Id suggest. Looks a provincial horse to me 8th
SPEED HERO In good order today and more focused in the mounting yard 9th
DREAM LANE Big price for this horse who is holding condition well between runs. Nowhere near the worst 6th
LEVEL EIGHT SCRATCHED SCRATCHED
RANDIKI Looks very plain in the coat today. Not for me 11th
KISEKI DANE Will find these too sharp 12th
LAY DOWN THE LAW Old boy in some sort of form. Winter coat on today, prefer others 2nd

HARVARD GRADUATE No chance 16th
