Santa Ana Lane has scored an emphatic win over Australia’s best sprinters to land the Group One TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick.

Coming from near last, Santa Ana Lane swept past the leaders at the 200m for a clear-cut victory to set up an international campaign.

“I had it won a long way out,” jockey Mark Zahra said.
