Only a small field to kick of Victoria’s feature meeting on Grand Final day and I think we can start with a bang by backing the Kenny Keys 5yo SNIPFIT. He was coming off a three week break last start and after doing a bit of work early still battled away nicely to be beaten 2 ½ lengths at Caulfield by a few horses that would handle this field. Around Mornington I am hoping Luke Nolen rolls to the front and improves his position from there.
RACE 3 NO.1 I AM QUEEN
They have given us the outside barrier here with I AM QUEEN but I don’t think that will stop the daughter of Animal Kingdom from continuing on her winning way. She has only raced five times winning two and she looks the type of mare that is only going to get better as she continues to race. The claim from Zac Spain will help bringing her top eight down to 57kg and I am just hoping he gives her the opportunity to work into the race and her class will carry her to victory.
