Race 1

4 – 1 – 3 – 2

 

There look two genuine winning chances in 4 Isaurian and 1 Eleazar. The 4 Isaurian is on debut but has looked the part winning both of his official barrier trials. His natural early speed should have him prominent throughout. 1 Eleazar is also on debut and also looked the part winning his only official hit out in good fashion at Rosehill. He has good early speed but has drawn outside the other two expected to go forward but with a straight run to the turn it should play a role.

Race 2

2 – 1 – 9 – 7

 

Not a race I’m overly excited about but I am sure the top two will run well. 2 Boorooj is first up off one nice trial when held together through. She has the ability race handy if required but can accelerate off a speed. 1 Savatiano has drawn the rails and has trialled very nicely leading into this first up run when finding the line under her own steam. If she reproduces her 2yo form she will be hard to hold out.

Race 3

1 – 2 – 5 – 4

 

1 Thewayweare is a tough on-pace stayer is now rock hard fit following four runs back and if able to find the top will prove ultra hard to get past. He won’t dash away but he will give his all and fight till the end. 2 Wine Bush has the class to blow this field away but she has only won once in 16 starts and seems to always find a way not to get the job done. 5 Ready For Success will tag the top one and will again be around the major spoils.

6 – 2 – 4 – 7

 

6 Tutu was very impressive winning her maiden last start at Wyong when she cleared out to salute by over five lengths. In a race with much speed on paper she should be able to roll to the front and prove hard to run down. 2 Cambage was outstanding winning from the back first up before running a nice third at Rosehill to Positive Problems. He will give a start but is sure to be charging hard in the run home.

4 – 3 – 5 – 8

 

Hard race to kick off the quadrella. 4 All From Scrap looks to get a nice run tagging the speed and must be considered a player with a confidence boosting win last start at Hawkesbury. 3 Drachenfels has been freshened since a strong win first up at Newcastle three weeks back. He has promised plenty in his short career and although he has been in the placing seven of nine starts with two wins he is still chasing his maiden city win. He will be coming hard late.

Race 6

10 – 11 – 2 – 1

 

10 Beacon looks the one to beat but also looks rock bottom odds around the $2.5 quote. He should get a lovely run from the gate and only needs to have come on since his first up win to be a major player. 11 Radiant Choice is first up off the back of two good trials and with no weight and a good gate you would expect to see a very good run first up. 2 To Excess has returned in super form with a dominant win at Kembla before a solid second here behind Latin Boy. Soft draw makes him a major player.

Race 7

1 – 10 – 9 – 6

 

1 Fortensky is flying at present and will again roll forward and give his all and prove hard to run down. He has run well here in both runs without winning but if allowed any easy sectionals up front he will be there at the finish. 10 Tumultuous was very good first and a repeat run would have him hard to hold out but he has looked hard to beat previously and let the side down.

11 – 2 – 7 – 3

 

Keen to play here with 11 Zonk. She has only raced four times showing ability and her recent barrier trials have been very good. She looks one of the better bets on the card. 2 Its Time For Magic is the query runner having raced three times in Melbourne after arriving from New Zealand. Bowman on board is a lead.
