With only 10 days remaining in the current season it’s not as bigger deal but today James Cummings is sending his 2yo ANIMALIA up against older horses over the mile at Gosford and he looks very hard to beat. The son of Animal Kingdom has only raced three times and turns up off a solid second at Warwick Farm three weeks ago albeit against his own age. The firmer surface than at his latest few runs should also prove an added bonus.

RACE 6          NO.2   DAPKOS

DAPKOS prepared by unfashionable but very good horseman Bobby Pearse this son of Denman has raced twice acquitting himself well on both occasions. A three week freshen up, back to 1200m, a firmer surface and an easier grade will hopefully enable his to secure his maiden victory today.
