STAR PRINCESS was first up from a ten month spell and after doing work throughout the run fought on well to finish third beaten just on two lengths. The step to 1200m here should suit and with further fitness she is sure to take running down here.

RACE 6          NO.4   GORESBRIDGE

Looks a good race to bet in with four genuine winning chances and all with their supporters.

I’m in the corner of GORESBRIDGE following his barnstorming win here almost two weeks ago. The son of New Approach has good natural speed but showed if need be he can take a sit and accelerate as he did when winning by a big space. There is more depth here with Launch Code, Postmaster General and Risen but I think they’ll have their work cut out beating Goresbridge.
