RACE 1 NO.8 PRINCE ALBY
We aren’t far off the year anniversary when PRINCE ALBY won his only start and he gets his big chance today to make a return to the winners circle following three runs back from a six month layoff. He is a 5yo but due to circumstances he has only raced ten times but the one thing we do know is he will stay. He was very good last Wednesday at Caulfield when beaten 3 ½ lengths behind Lucky For All and with the quick seven day back up he is primed to run well.
RACE 4 NO.12 TRULY DISCREET
TRULY DISCREET resumed on September 22 following a four month spell and was solid when beaten just on two lengths in the city on a Saturday against quality mares. She then was outgunned in group two grade in the Blazer Stakes when sitting on a solid speed and crumbling in the final furlong. She should be just about cherry ripe fitness wise and with Gold Fields and Triage drawn outside her she should be able to cruise across into a lovely trailing position and be ready to go on straightening.
