It’s a big day for BYZANTIUM a son of All Too Hard who returns here after being gelded. His recent trial was very good where he began brilliantly and although travelling deep throughout he did it comfortably finding the line strongly with something up the sleeve. If the gelding has done the trick and he now wants to be a racehorse I am confident he will kick start his winning career today.

LEGADEMA steps out for the first for Brad Widdup after formerly being trained in Queensland by Toby Edmonds. He showed very good early speed to lead at his latest trial and although handled late it was Endless Drama and he held the rest at bay without any pressure. Brad Widdup has done an amazing job with tried horses from many stables and I am banking on Legadema being no different.
