HAWKESBURY
THURSDAY 5 JULY
TRACK: SOFT 7 (5.25)
BEST BETS:
RACE 4 NO.10 TELL NO TALES
TELL NO TALES returns after a five month spell with two solid barrier trials to have her ready to fire fresh. She has raced twice and although beaten six lengths on debut when running third it was behind the Golden Slipper winner Estijaab. She doesn’t look to face any stars here and from barrier one she should fall into a lovely stalking role and be given her chance in the run home.
RACE 7 NO.3 ZIDANE
ZIDANE finally broke his maiden status two runs ago at Kembla at his sixth race start and he did it in impressive style racing away to win by almost three and half lengths. He stepped to a class 1 and although starting big odds he was terrific when second to Asterius who was able to win last Saturday at Rosehill. He looks to have really turned the corner to my eye and although dropping back a 100m in trip as long as her gets his chance to wind up he will be coming hard in the run home.
