Lord Belvedere is well-placed in what is far from the strongest edition of the Bendigo Cup.
He had excuses when he failed to fire on the firm track in The Bart Cummings and his form before that had been outstanding.
Barrier three is ideal and he should get a lovely run in transit with Mark Zahra in the saddle.

No. 9 Kipketer – Bet Now: $9.50
Kipketer is racing in career best form and he is great value at his current quote of $9.50.
Jamie Mott will be able to settle Kipketer right on the speed in the early stages of this race and luck in running could prove crucial in what is a very open race.

Maritana has recorded five wins from his ten race starts and trainer Julien Welsh has found another very winnable contest for him.
He wasn’t disgraced when he took on a stronger field than this on Blue Sapphire Day and his two wins before that at Mornington were full of merit.
$8.50 is well and truly over the odds in what is a very open contest.
