No. 4 Coterie – Bet Now: $2.80
Coterie has always been a horse with more talent than his record suggests and he finds himself in another winnable contest.
He showed genuine toughness to win at Warwick Farm last start and it would not surprise if he is now able to string a few wins together.
Canterbury – Race 6 4:20PMAEST
No. 3 Deference – Bet Now: $3.40
The Bopper has recorded two wins from as many starts and does obviously have talent, but I can’t get him as short as his current quote.
Deference is the obvious danger.
He has form around some talented gallopers and his two barrier trials ahead of his return to the races were excellent.
Canterbury – Race 7 4:55PM AEST
No. 1 Aim Smart – Bet Now: $15.00
Aim Smart is well and truly over the odds at his current quote of $13.
He competed at Group level in New Zealand and his barrier trials ahead of his Australian racing debut were excellent.
He will be better over further, but I think that his class will take him a long way in this contest.
Canterbury – Race 8 5:30PM AEST
No. 7 Marboosha – Bet Now: $3.40
Marboosha can make a winning return to the races at Canterbury this afternoon.
She started her racing career with two wins and she wasn’t beaten far in the Woodlands Stakes.
It would not surprise to see her end up in stronger races than this one.
