Perfect World has raced well without winning during her racing career to date and she has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win in the Kennedy Oaks Trial.
The Pride Of Dubai filly has improved each time that she has been seen at the races and the step-up to 1800 metres looks ideal for her.
The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but she does have tactical versatility and Luke Currie in the saddle is a positive.
Flemington – Race 6 3:55PM AEST
No. 2 Bak Da Man – Bet Now: $11.00
This is an open edition of the Victoria Derby Trial and Bak Da Man is well and truly over the odds at his current quote.
His victory at Sale last start could hardly have been more impressive and the Reliable Man gelding does produce a serious turn-of-foot.
Barrier one is ideal and the step-up to 1800 metres looks ideal for him.
Flemington – Race 7 4:30PM AEST
No. 15 Impi – Bet Now: $5.00
Impi has recorded three wins from his six race starts and there is no reason that he can’t record another race win.
The Crowded House gelding had no luck in running at Bendigo last start and I think that he should take good improvement from that performance.
Damien Oliver will take him straight to the front in the early stages of this race and he will give his rivals something to chase.
Flemington – Race 8 5:05PM AEST
No. 5 Themoonlitegambler – Bet Now: $10.00
Themoonlitegambler has won first-up in the past and he is well-placed to make a winning return to the races.
He finished in the placings in both the Port Adelaide Guineas and the Chairman’s Stakes before he finished sixth behind Russian Camelot in the South Australian Derby.
Barrier five is ideal and he will make his own luck right on the speed with Daniel Stackhouse in the saddle.
