Oath Of Omerta showed plenty of toughness to win on debut at Morphettville and he should take good improvement from that performance.
This isn’t the toughest race and Todd Pannell should be able to control this race from the outset.
The Michael Hickmott stable is absolutely flying and Oath Of Omerta can deliver him another winner.
Murray Bridge – Race 7 4:55PM AEST
No. 13 Aqueduct – Bet Now: $3.90
Aqueduct is a deserving favourite in the Murray Bridge Gold Cup.
He has recorded three wins on the trot and he keeps improving each time that he has been seen at the races.
This is a step-up in quality, but I think that he is up to the test.
Moe – Race 7 3:30PM AEST
No. 4 Think We’re Due – Bet Now: $4.40
This is a very open edition of the Moe Cup and there are a host of winning chances.
Think We’re Due has been racing well in tougher races than this one and this could prove to be the right contest for him.
He finished a tough fourth behind In Good Health in the Heatherlie Stakes and he wasn’t disgraced in what was a strong edition of the MRC Foundation Cup.
Michael Walker can ride him aggressively and he will give his rivals something to chase.
Moe – Race 9 4:40PM AEST
No. 7 Housay – Bet Now: $2.05
Housay has recorded two wins from as many race starts and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways.
The field that he meets this afternoon is no stronger than what he met at Ballarat last start and there is no doubt that he has the most upside.
