Stormborn is well-placed to record a maiden race win at Pakenham this afternoon.
She has raced well in much tougher races than this at The Valley and Flemington in the past and on her best form she has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
The Headwater filly has plenty of early speed and should have no trouble taking up the running.
Pakenham – Race 5 2:30PM AEST
No. 1 Mr Monaco – Bet Now: $3.10
Mr Monaco is racing in career best form and he has clearly taken a liking to the Synthetic course at Pakenham.
He was very unlucky not to record another race win at Pakenham last start and there is no fitter horse in this field.
Barrier three is perfect for him and he has the benefit of Michael Walker in the saddle.
Pakenham – Race 6 3:00PM AEST
No. 2 Magnetism – Bet Now: $4.80
It has been a while between race wins for Magnetism, but this is his chance to return to winning form.
He was only narrowly denied at Pakenham last start and the field that he meets this afternoon is no tougher.
The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but the Magnus gelding does have tactical versatility and he is over the odds at his current quote.

No. 3 Abyssinian – Bet Now: $6.00
Abyssinian returned to the races with a promising effort at Pakenham and she should take good improvement from that performance.
The Magic Albert mare has won second-up in the past and she is unbeaten over this track and distance.
I am confident that she is the class mare in this field and she can return to winning form.
