Saint Of Katowice is deserving of his status as a short-priced favourite in this contest.

He has generally raced in stronger company than this and he has shown enough talent to suggest that he is more than capable of winning this contest.

Barrier four is ideal and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with John Allen in the saddle.

Swan Hill – Race 6 4:00PM AEST

No. 5 Mr Wolf – Bet Now: $6.50

Mr Wolf has failed to fire in his past two race starts, but I am confident that he is a better horse than that current effort suggests.

He has form around some decent horses and he should now be at peak fitness third-up.

This is his chance to return to winning form.

Swan Hill – Race 7 4:30PM AEST

No. 5 Lunch Session – Bet Now: $4.80

Lunch Session hasn’t had any luck whatsoever during his current campaign and I am confident that he is a better horse than his record suggests.

He will need some luck in running, but this is a genuine drop in class and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

Swan Hill – Race 8 5:00PM AEST

No. 2 Cranc – Bet Now: $2.35

Cranc is unlucky not to have recorded three wins from as many race starts.

There was plenty to like about his first two race wins and he was caught wide at Sale last start.

With even luck in running, he will prove very tough to beat.
