Sunshine Coast – Race 3 6:15PM AEST

No. 1 Ready To Roam – Bet Now: $4.80

Ready To Roam from the Tony Gollan stable is clearly a horse with a lot of talent however he has simply not been up to the grade of racing that he has been put into in recent times. This is a considerable drop in grade and despite having to carry the big weight, he will get some relief from the apprentice. Plus he drops down to 1000m where he has done all of his best racing.

Sunshine Coast – Race 4 6:45PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 3 Gypsy Toff – Bet Now: $2.60

Gypsy Toff has now managed three wins in a row and his last start win at Doomben was her most impressive. She has now won 11 of her 24 career race starts and she is a mare in form. She looks a winning chance yet again.

Cranbourne – Race 5 7:30PM AEST

No. 11 Witchfulthinking – Bet Now: $2.80

Witchfulthinking didn’t handle the sharp step up in grade, or the heavy track, when he finished down the track at Caulfield last start. He gets back to a more winnable grade of racing in this contest this evening and I’d like to see Jamie Kah take up the running from the inside draw if she can.

Cranbourne – Race 7 8:30PM AEST

No. 9 Field’s Of Yulong – Bet Now: $4.60

Chris Waller saddles up Field’s Of Yulong in this event and he represents good value. The lightly raced four year old gelding broke through for a dominant seven length win at Mornington before having a spell. He returned when eighth beaten 2.6 lengths first up at Sandown and he will appreciate stepping back in grade here.
