Jesse James savaged the line when he made his Australian racing debut at Gosford and there was plenty to like about the performance.
He got a long way back in that contest, but he should be able to settle closer to the speed from barrier three.
I think he is a horse with upside and he represents great value at his current quote.

No. 3 Super Contender – Bet Now: $2.10
Super Contender is deserving of his status as a clear favourite for this contest.
He has recorded two wins from his four career starts and he showed plenty of ability during his time in Queensland.
The Kodiac gelding has won first-up in the past and he makes his own luck right on the speed.

No. 11 Private Cheetah – Bet Now: $3.40
Private Cheetah is a colt with plenty of promise and he should prove too strong for his rivals in this contest.
He hasn’t been disgraced in tougher races than this and this does look like a more appropriate contest for him.
Nash Rawiller will take him straight to the front and he will give his rivals something to catch.
