Geelong – Race 3 1:30PM AEST
No. 10 Blondeau – Bet Now: $2.25
Blondeau is yet to break through for his maiden race win but the I Am Invincible colt has placed in three of his five starts.
He finished third in Group 2 company behind Farnan at his last start in his last prep and returned to the races with a sixth at this track first up.
He has drawn well in barrier five and will appreciate the step up in distance for this assignment.
Geelong – Race 5 2:30PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 3 Cracksman – Bet Now: $2.45
Danny O’Brien saddles up Cracksman in the fifth event of the day at Geelong with Damien Oliver climbing aboard to steer.
He was an impressive winner over the 1800m at Morphettville at his second run this prep and only narrowly missed last time out.
The distance is not an issue and he should be ready to peak at his fifth run in.
Geelong – Race 7 3:30PM AEST
No. 10 Madlenka – Bet Now: $3.90
Three year old filly Madlenka broke through for her maiden race win back in January at Stawell by 4.3 lengths.
She has had three runs so far this prep including an impressive last time out at Ballarat by 2.5 lengths and if Damien Thornton can navigate a tricky gate, she will be right up to a race of this quality.
Geelong – Race 9 4:30PM AEST
No. 10 Serengati – Bet Now: $4.50
Serengati broke through for his maiden race win last start at Ballarat over the 1600m and the son of Smart Missile looks ready to go on with the job now.
He has a fifth at Group 2 level behind The Holy One to his name and he is a very progressive type of horse.
