Inthelapofthegods has shown some promise during his racing career to date and finds himself in a very winnable contest at Pakenham this afternoon.

He showed plenty of toughness to finish fourth after having no luck in running at Pakenham last start and this race isn’t any tougher.

Barrier two is ideal for him and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Pakenham – Race 6 3:30PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 5 Matador – Bet Now: $4.80

I am confident that Matador is a very horse than his current record suggests.

He has been racing well without winning this preparation and this is probably the weakest race that he has contested for a while.

It is no surprise that he has already been backed from $5.50 into $4.80 and I expect that he will start even shorter.

Pakenham – Race 7 4:00PM AEST

No. 1 Full Of Theories – Bet Now: $5.00

Full Of Theories will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but his class can prevail in what is far from the strongest race.

The Danesis gelding has produced the majority of his best form at Pakenham on the synthetic surface and the conditions this afternoon suit.

Jamie Mott in the saddle is a positive and he will make his own luck right on the speed.

Pakenham – Race 8 4:30PM AEST

No. 3 Banksy Strikes – Bet Now: $3.10

Banksy Strikes has recorded two wins from as many starts at Pakenham on the synthetic surface and it is no doubt that he enjoys this surface.

This is tougher than the field that he beat last start, but he does have an excellent turn-of-foot and he some tactical versatility.

He can make it two wins on the trot.
