Zounate may never have a chance to break through for a maiden race win and he is deserving of his status as a dominant favourite.

The Zoustar gelding has generally raced in stronger company than this and his two trials ahead of his return to the races have been excellent.

No. 2 The Poet – Bet Now: $2.00

The Poet is another galloper that is deserving of his status as a short-priced favourite.

There has been plenty of merit in each of his race starts this campaign and he finds himself in a fairly weak contest this afternoon.

Chris Williams will have options from barrier eight and he should prove too good for this field.

Orange – Race 6 5:15PM AEST

No. 8 Arithmetic – Bet Now: $2.45

Arithmetic is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Orange this afternoon.

She has never won first-up in the past, but this looks like a lovely race for her.

Grant Buckley will take her straight to the front in the early stages of the race and she will give her rivals something to catch.

Orange – Race 7 5:55PM AEST

No. 10 Arizona Night – Bet Now: $2.90

Arizona Night is a lightly-raced filly that still has an enormous amount of upside.

She scored a classy win at Canberra over 1000 metres and she has trialed nicely ahead of her return to the races.

Jess Taylor will ride her aggressively from the wide barrier draw and she will give her rivals something to catch.
