Stony Creek – Race 4 1:45PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 9 Ausbred L’or – Bet Now: $2.10

Ausbred L’or made her racing debut for the Patrick Payne stable with a fast-finishing third and she should take good improvement from what was her first start in seven months.

This race is no tougher and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Beau Mertens in the saddle.

She may never have a better chance to claim a maiden race win.

Stony Creek – Race 6 4:00PM AEST

No. 4 Lucente – Bet Now: $3.90

Lucente may be a ten-year-old, but there is no reason that he can’t return to winning form at Stony Creek this afternoon.

He has been racing well in tougher company than this and he has recorded two wins from his three previous starts at this venue.

Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Stony Creek – Race 7 4:30PM AEST

No. 5 Licciardi – Bet Now: $3.00

This is the weakest race that Licciardi has contested in some time and she has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

She was outclassed at The Valley last start, but her form before that had been excellent and on exposed form she does look to have a clear class edge over the rest of this field.

I am surprised that she isn’t a shorter-priced favourite for this contest.

Stony Creek – Race 8 5:00PM AEST

No. 5 I Am Ready – Bet Now: $2.00

I Am Ready is not the most consistent filly in the world, but she is capable of a high-rating performance on her day and on her best form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.

Her last start win at Donald was nothing short of dominant and a repeat of that effort would make her far too good for the rest of this field.
