He wasn’t beaten far at Mornington last start and I think that this contest is a genuine drop in class.
Barrier three is ideal and he should have every possible chance in the run.

No. 3 Argyle Belle – Bet Now: $3.60
It has been a long time between race wins for Argyle Belle, but this does look like the perfect race for her.
She has improved each time that she has been seen at the races this campaign and she was only narrowly denied at Moe last start.
She may never have a better chance to return to winning form.
Bairnsdale – Race 8 4:30PM AEST
No. 2 Preliminaires – Bet Now: $3.80
Preliminaires returned to the races with a very impressive win at Moe and a repeat of that effort would make him tough to beat.
I like the fact that he has been kept at 1000 metres and Lachlan Neindorf in the saddle is a positive.
Bairnsdale – Race 9 5:00PM AEST
No. 5 Ping Ping – Bet Now: $6.00
Ping Ping is outstanding value at his current quote of $6.
He has raced well without winning during his two race starts this campaign and the form around him has been strong.
On his best form he has a class edge over the rest of this field and I am confident that he will start shorter than the odds on offer.
