He was only narrowly denied over 1000 metres at Coffs Harbour last start and I like the fact that he has been kept at this trip.

He has speed to burn and will make his own luck right on the speed in the early stages of the race.

No. 3 Beyond Desire – Bet Now: $2.30

Beyond Desire has developed into a very consistent mare and she finds herself in another nice race at Grafton this afternoon.

She showed a lovely turn-of-foot to record an impressive win at Ipswich last start and a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat.

The daughter of Zoustar deserves to be a dominant favourite.

Ballarat – Race 7 4:00PM AEST

No. 7 Gregorian Chant – Bet Now: $3.70

Gregorian Chant has been racing well without winning this campaign and she may never have a better chance to record another race win.

She hasn’t been beaten far in tougher races than this one and on her best form she does look to have a genuine edge over the rest of this field.

Barrier seven is ideal and she will have every possible chance.

Ballarat – Race 8 4:30PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 3 Rich And Rare – Bet Now: $2.15

Rich And Rare will return to the races in a very winnable contest at Ballarat this afternoon.

The Starspangledbanner mare has shown very of ability during her racing career to date and she has far more upside than the rest of this field.

It would not surprise to see her end up in much stronger races than this one.
