Snappy Magnus will return to the races in a very winnable contest at Ballarat this afternoon.
He has form around some good horses and on exposed form he does look to have a class edge over the rest of this field.
Craig Newitt in the saddle is a positive and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

BEST BET: No. 3 Squami – Bet Now: $3.10
Squami doesn’t win out of turn, but this could prove to be the right race for him.
The Squamosa gelding very rarely produces a poor performance and this is a very weak contest.
This is his chance to return to winning form.
Ballarat – Race 8 4:30PM AEST
No. 2 Ronay – Bet Now: $4.40
Ronay is a track and distance specialist that is well-placed to make a winning return to the races.
All five of his career wins have come at Ballarat and he has scored four wins from his six race starts over this track and distance.
There is no reason why he won’t be right in the mix once again.
