Optimizzer is set to start this race as a dominant favourite, but I can’t get him anywhere near as short as his current quote and Mountain Ibis is the horse to beat.
He is racing in career best form and he has shown a lovely turn-of-foot in his past two starts.
I fancy him to knock-off the hotpot favourite.
Wodonga – Race 7 4:30PM AEST
No. 2 Nicotera – Bet Now: $4.00
Nicotera is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Wodonga this afternoon.
It has been a while since he recorded a race win, but he finished last campaign with a string of impressive efforts and he has won first-up in the past.
He is the pick of the bunch in what is far from the strongest field.

No. 2 Global Sanction – Bet Now: $9.00
It has been a long time between race wins for Global Sanction, but this looks like a nice race for her.
On her best form she does look to have an edge over the rest of this field and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Josh Richards in the saddle.
$8.50 is well and truly over the odds.
