Stockman has recorded three wins from his past four race starts and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways.
He showed an excellent turn-of-foot to run down his rivals at Royal Randwick last start and this race isn’t much tougher.
The Tavistock gelding will settle in the second half of the field, but he will be flying home late.
Warwick Farm – Race 6 3:10PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 5 Acumen – Bet Now: $SP.00
Acumen is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Warwick Farm this afternoon.
The Exceed And Excel gelding has shown plenty of potential during his racing career to date and his barrier trial ahead of his return to the races was excellent.
Barrier one is ideal and he will have every possible chance to claim another race win.
Warwick Farm – Race 7 3:45PM AEST
No. 5 Fashchanel – Bet Now: $SP.00
Fashchanel has recorded two wins from her four race starts and she is a filly with plenty of upside.
Her first-up victory at Kembla Grange was excellent and she should improve with that run under her belt.
She maps to get a lovely run in transit with Hugh Bowman in the saddle and it wouldn’t surprise to see her end up in stronger races than this one.
Mornington – Race 7 3:55PM AEST
No. 2 Stellar Impact– Bet Now: $1.70
Stellar Impact has started to deliver on her potential and is deserving of her status as a short-priced favourite.
She was only narrowly denied by Navy Cross, who went on to run well in the Rough Habit Plate at Eagle Farm on Stradbroke Handicap Day, and her last start victory at Cranbourne.
Craig Williams can take her to the front in the early stages of this contest and she will give her rivals something to catch.
