Gold Coast – Race 4 1:04PM AEST

No. 1 Amicitia – Bet Now: $4.20

Amicitia has an excellent chance to return to winning form at the Gold Coast.

She has developed into a very consistent performer and on her best form she does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field.

Barrier three is ideal for her and she will have every possible chance with Jim Byrne in the saddle.

Gold Coast – Race 5 1:39PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 7 Soxagon – Bet Now: $1.60

Soxagon showed an excellent turn-of-foot to make a winning return to the races at the Gold Coast last start and he should take good improvement from that performance.

This field isn’t that much tougher, and he is another horse that maps to get a lovely run in transit from barrier three.

He is deserving of his status as a clear favourite.

Gold Coast – Race 7 2:59PM AEST

No. 3 Raqeeq – Bet Now: $7.00

It is no surprise that there has been some early money for Raqeeq and he is still over the odds at $10.

It has been a while between race wins for the Champs Elyssees gelding, but this is a very open race and he has a much better chance than his current price suggests.

Luck in running will be key in this contest and he looks set to get a dream run.

Morphettville – Race 7 3:45PM AEST

No. 6 Waging War – Bet Now: $7.00

Waging War is the horse to beat in the R A Lee Stakes and it would be a surprise if he didn’t start shorter than his current price of $7.50.

He showed his quality when he was competitive at Group 1 level during the Spring Racing Carnival and he should take good improvement from his first-up effort in the City Of Adelaide Handicap.
